Kyle Bennett

Kyle Bennett is a graduate from two of North America’s finest music institutions. He studied a Bachelor of Composition from McGill University and was awarded full scholarship to complete a Master’s of Computer Music Composition from the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University. Kyle earned the designation Associate of the Royal Conservatory [A.R.C.T.] in Piano Performance from the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto – the culmination point of Canada’s most popular classical music curriculum.

Kyle has created a variety of innovative projects including: The Ligetisplit Ensemble (a contemporary music project), Kyle Bennett’s Laptop Quartet, and served as Music Director, playing authentic pipe organ and directing choir for The Light Street Presbyterian Church. Kyle continues to write original music and engage in open-minded artistic pursuits while sharing his passion for music with others.

Since 2001, Kyle has spent his time teaching: piano, guitar, composition, and theory lessons. He has prepared students for RCM music examinations [Piano, Grades 1 thru 8] and helped students develop their musicianship skills along the way.
